2010 *A Page About You For Us

Our Mentone retreat is ONLY 12 WEEKS AWAY!!!  Time is flying by so QUICKLY and that special weekend will be here before we know it.  Are you counting down the days?  We sure are; and we're working now with our preparations to show you all a GREAT time! 
 
If you have attended one of our events before or have read about them on our web site, then you know we ask each lady there to create a page about themselves for each of us (the coordinators, Paulette & Phronsa). 



It’s a chance for you to express yourself, tell / show us something about “who you are”, and earn extra tickets for the prize drawings.  Plus, it is an absolute highlight of the weekend for us to receive those beautiful pages and we truly treasure each one.  Seeing all of the different styles, colors, techniques, etc. is so much FUN!



Like last year, we are using a standard size of 8.5 by 11 inches.  This should be pretty easy for everyone to do as opposed to some other sizes we've done in years past.  Use any colors you want.  If coordinating with the page next to yours matters to you, then maybe you can get with your scrapping buddy and choose colors together.  Best friends, moms & daughters, sisters, etc. will most likely be side by side in the albums. 



Feel free to make your page ahead of time and just give it to us when you arrive and get settled in.  If you wait until the retreat weekend to make your page, please bring a photo of yourself with you to put on it.  For previous events, we have offered to take photos & print them for you there.  However, we are so busy during the retreat; we’ve realized that we must eliminate that service.  Many of our ladies prefer to make the page prior to the event so they can spend the whole weekend doing other stuff.



We really want to reward everyone for doing such a very special thing for us.  So, upon the completion of your page, you will receive THREE tickets for the prize drawings.  This is the highest number of tickets that may be earned for any one activity during that weekend.  Since there are two of us, we will be making copies of your page so that we will each have a page for our personal scrapbooks about the retreat weekend.


 
You can see all of the pages done by our 2008 & 2009 attendees right here on the web site (from our home page, go to "photo album", 2008 (or 2009) retreat, & "view details" OR, you can find them under “Previous Retreats”).  Please look at those & get an idea of what other ladies have done.  We hope you will enjoy expressing yourself in whatever way you want to.  Get as elaborate as you wish to, or make it simple.  It’s your choice.  Thanks so much for doing this for us.  It's an incredible gift that we will cherish for a lifetime.  Plus, we will bring the books each year to share with everyone.
