 Quilted Paisley Backpack Purses and Totes Available for Purchase
October 6th, 2008 Back in the early part of this summer, I was shopping in Boaz and found an AWESOME backpack purse for sale. The background on the fabric is chocolate brown and the foreground design has paisleys (and ladybugs) in our NS colors of pink, blue, and green! Instant heart palpitations were upon me immediately when I saw it!!!! I HAD to have this bag and I HAD to figure out how we could offer them to our attendees. The lady who owns the business where I was shopping told me she had purchased the item last year and was not certain she could acquire more. However, when she attended a huge event in Atlanta a few weeks later, she was able to get some for us. Right now, it is not a “sure thing” that she will be able to get more of them for an indefinite time. So the quantities are possibly limited. She will do her best to order as many as we take orders for. But since we can’t guarantee that they will be available, for now we must let you know that the first ladies to order will be promised bags to be delivered to them at the retreat in February (along with T-shirts purchased – more info coming soon about our T-shirts). We have 12 quilted backpack purses available and 6 totes made from the same fabric at this time. Because the design is so elaborate, we will not offer any type of personalization. If you wish to have that done later on your own, it’s up to you. We just felt like initials, names, or even our HOT and “happening” NS logo would get lost on the design. Trust me, these are so pretty! I just love mine! The company name on the labels inside each bag is VIVARY®. You may be familiar with their products. The price for a backpack purse is $28.00. I have provided a ruler next to them in a couple of the pictures to help you get an idea of the sizes (ruler not included…). Not everyone is good at being able to picture dimensions when given measurements. So I thought this would help. Backpack  Tote  The fabric on these bags is just gorgeous. The Notorious Scrapaholics colors of pink, blue, and lime green show up beautifully on the chocolate brown background. Paisleys and ladybugs abound and shine like new money for the world to see what great taste you have! The quilted bags also sport a coordinating border fabric on the bottoms and on the side pockets as well as the top flap on the backpack purse. Inside each bag is a lining of chocolate brown and white gingham checks. Backpack purse dimensions and other details: 11 inches high 10.5 inches wide 7 inches deep (at bottom of the bag) Side pockets are 6.5 inches deep. There are 3 inside pockets sewn to the lining of the purse back. The zippered pocket is 6 inches deep, 7 inches wide, and there are two smaller pockets as well.  The back straps can be adjusted to fit your back and shoulders – can be up to 31 inches total in length to make it fit more loosely. Backpack back view showing straps  There are four metal ‘feet’ on the purse bottom to help keep it clean when it’s put down somewhere. The drawstring and eyelets on the inside of top of the bag help to pull the top closed more tightly.  An 8 x 8.5 inch flap folds over and closes with a magnetic snap. Tote dimensions and other details: 10.5 inches high 15 inches wide 4 inches deep Side pockets are 5.5 inches deep.  There is one large zippered pocket on the inside in the center of the tote. It is 8.5 inches deep and 14 inches wide.  There are 3 inside pockets sewn to the lining of the purse back. The zippered pocket is 6 inches deep, 7 inches wide, and there are two smaller pockets as well. An outside zippered pocket is on the back of the tote with dimensions of 6.5 inches deep by 8.5 inches wide.  The straps are 24 inches long giving an approximate drop of 11 inches from your shoulder to the top of the bag.
