The following are expenses which are not included in the retreat price:
You will have the option to purchase a retreat T-shirt &/or tote prior to the event (date of availability coming soon). All shirts must be paid for before the retreat and will be delivered to you when you arrive.
Our NS store will be in the crop hall all weekend. We will offer for sale some basic supplies such as cardstock, patterned paper, adhesives, and a few embellishments. This store is there for your convenience and any money collected is added to our retreat funds and then "recycled" to use on our attendees.
Any classes or workshops will be advertised before the event. If you choose to participate in a class, the fees must be prepaid before the retreat weekend. Information will be given in plenty of time to get your payment to the instructor before we go to Mentone.
Marvelous Marvis Burke will be there to work her magic on those tired shoulders. After hours and hours of scrapping, you will probably hear her hands “calling your name”. If you schedule a massage, you will pay her directly for her services. She charges $1.00 per minute and performs 15, 30, 45 minute, and 1 hour massages. *Gratuity is not included in her prices.
If you choose to take a road trip to Three Ladies & a Scrapbook (in Rainsville, 28 miles from the camp), you will want to have some extra money with you to shop.
Some of our attendees may bring hand made items to sell. They are responsible for their own announcements and will be welcome to advertise their goods at their crop spot. However, they will not have an area in which to set up tables in order to sell their goodies.
We have several attendees who are consultants for various scrapbooking (and other) businesses. They are all welcome to bring their catalogs with them and take orders during the weekend. Anything you purchase from these ladies will need to be paid directly to them. |
